Pablo Rousson is a 23 year old graduate from Central Saint Martins’ BA Menswear programme. Rousson, whose parents are artists, got his first glimpse of Saint Martins life doing the Foundation programme where he fell in love with menswear. Menswear was ‘great because it allows you to concentrate on your craft, it allowed me to perfect my attention to detail and tailoring which I adore,’ Rousson says. An opulent year out at Givenchy and Tom Ford inspired the East London based designer to go over the top with his graduate collection. Entitled Alpine Manhunt Rousson’s collection took everything he had been working on over the past few years and took it to the next level. Inspired by homoeroticism and his Swiss heritage, he took the traditionally unsexy items of clothing and made them lustful. The ‘it’ piece from the collection is exquisite grey wool utilitarian jacket with a fur collar paired with goat Hyde booty shorts, that we will all be rushing to wear when the world opens!
