Amon Kale is a BA Fashion Womenswear graduate from Central Saint Martins who interned at Chloé in Paris and NUQO Modular Architects before graduating in June 2021. Their collection is an exploration of your inner voice and how if can be broken down into recognisable archetypes, a Mother, Brother, Sister and Father. Amon’s commitment to sustainability through textile development in their collection was guided by the use of projection patterning as a way of reducing waste, as well as using regenerated fabrics suffused through out the looks, with the primary sustainable textiles coming from regenerated landfill and ocean plastic waste, building on a project they worked on during their internship year. Amon is a Bottega Veneta scholar for 2021, as well as the recipient of a UNESCO Sustainable Development Goals/CIC work-grant for continued exploration into creating sustainable fabrics for use across fashion and product design.
